It almost seemed like the sheer size of the hotel and its automated system for assigning rooms led to a lack of attention to detail and guest satisfaction. It's disheartening to think that a five-star hotel, as they claim to be, would let their standards slip so drastically.
Despite their offer to switch rooms, the alternative was in the same deplorable state, leading me to lose faith in the hotel's ability to provide a clean environment. To make matters worse, the door lock was bashed in and completely unusable, a concerning security issue that I couldn't overlook. Dust was everywhere, and the sight of leftover food and candy bars strewn on the floor was appalling. From the moment we entered the room, it was evident that cleanliness was not a priority.
